I moved across the country to pursue a graphic design career, though I am currently working as a freelance designer (my main area of expertise being in print media). I am working on a separate project of my own: my book series "The Shepherd's Lamp" which I plan to finish in the next few years after I finish the book series. I also enjoy composing music on the piano and guitar.

So in my previous entry I mentioned how I am getting let go at the job where I am a production artist, but at least I have my retail job that I can fall back on so that I'm not completely unemployed. I'm well aware that I'm in a state of transition and growth in so many ways, but they are good ways. So a month ago I started working as a production designer at the events company in downtown Portland Before that I had been laid off from the events company for three months because of an expired contract.
